Native Italian speakers often talk at what seems like lightning-speed to a beginner, so slow things down with this ballad by songstress Arisa. Singing about how she feels during the lonely hours of the night without that special someone, Arisa helpfully provides lots of vocabulary about the human body — ginocchia, stomaco, fegato, and testa all feature. And, yes, we have some love stories here and there too! What do you like about it and how did it help you learn the lovely Italian language? To expand your repertoire of expressions, check out my collection of Italian idioms, Italian sayings, Italian proverbs, Italian quotes, Italian hand gestures or even Italian swear words , just for a laugh.
1 – Ti amo d’Umberto Tozzi, a hit all around the world
Turns out, you love love as much as we do — especially when it helps you learn Italian. Quello che potremmo fare io e te Senza dar retta a nessuno Senza pensare a qualcuno Quello che potremmo fare io e te Non lo puoi neanche credere. From: Beatrice Massaro, Italiano con Beatrice. Dalle ingiustizie e dagli inganni del tuo tempo, dai fallimenti che per tua natura normalmente attirerai. Non hai fiori bianchi per me? I testi sono delle vere e proprie poesie! TESTO rockol. Per te, per me: nel cielo. TESTO anglotesti. Un punto sei, che non ruota mai intorno a me un sole che splende per me soltanto come un diamante in mezzo al cuore.
When talking about Italian songs and in particular about Italian love songs, I guess foreign people tend to identify tunes belonging to a genre that nowadays Italian people do not actually listen to. Il Volo started to be acclaimed in Italy the moment TV and newspapers reported about their success in America and their collaborations with Barbra Streisand and Placido Domingo. I would love to say that nowadays common Italians still have such a fine music taste, but, sadly, our record labels are not prone to promote certain kinds of musicians anymore and the younger generations are way too engrossed into foreign pop music and the unconvincing Italian rap scene to even consider this kind of heritage. Today I will list five eternal songs focused on the theme of love and I will debunk another belief: not every Italian love song is about passionate, romantic and mushy stuff.
